Cilantro-lime Dressing


If you want to add a tangy twist to your Fresh Vegetable Salad, or a Chicken Steak, this dressing is a perfect option!

This is a short-cut recipe based on ingredients easily available in Indian kitchens.

INGREDIENTS (For a bowl of Salad)

  • Olive Oil- 2 TBSP

  • Juice of 2 Lemons

  • Chopped Garlic - 4-5 Cloves

  • Oregano - 3 TSP

  • Black Pepper - 1/2 TSP

  • Chilli Flakes - 1/4 TSP

  • Chopped Cilantro

  • Honey - 1/2 TSP

  • Salt - 1 TSP

RECIPE | Cilantro-Lime Salad


A salad dressing always comes handy to spruce-up certain meals such as roasted meat, tacos, salads or can be used even as a quick marinade.



  1. Take a tall and wide-enough jar which will allow you to whisk the Dressing mix

  2. Pour the desired quantity of Olive Oil and to it add the Chopped Garlic

  3. Add the squeezed Lime Juice in appropriate ratio

4. Whisk a little, and add the spices - Oregano, Chilli Flakes, Pepper Powder and Cilantro

5. Whisk the mixture nicely and allow the oil to emulsify. Taste before seasoning and adjust the ingredients according to your taste!
